Soccer is the international sport. There have been many efforts to make soccer better known in the U.S. including bringing the oh so famous England star David Beckham to the Los Angeles Galaxy Club. Beside the point for a second, Beckham’s contract is outrageous and he even has the option to buy the club. It was a big effort to publicize Soccer in the U.S..
Across the sea, soccer is big…BIG. English people, Asian, African, a lot of them bleed soccer. It’s good to hear something that barely makes SportsCenter here is getting recognition at least somewhere.
